As we approach Dogville’s 5th anniversary this Saturday, we have to say bon voyage to one of our most beloved friends, Boris the bulldog. Boris first came to stay with us the January after we opened on December 16th and he stayed with us for 4 whole weeks. We had a great time getting to know him then and each year after that. Boris is now on his way to other adventures, as his family is moving to France this month. Sharing daily Boris Facebook updates with you have been a wonderful way to reach out to his family during their time in Brazil each January and we’ve had so much fun in the process. During his last visit with us, it occurred to me that Boris is a French bulldog, so it’s only fitting that he should live in France for his retirement. I will miss his antics, his snarly way of playing and his long, all out runs through the back yard. We have watched him age gracefully and embrace his role as big brother to little Benjamin. I am so grateful that his family trusted us as a brand new business with their beloved bulldog that January five years ago. Safe travels, Fabio, Lena, Benjamin and my sweet friend Boris.
